Why Do We Use Guardian Homes?
At JD Goldendoodles, we believe every dog deserves a life filled with love, stability, and belonging. That’s why we place our breeding dogs in carefully selected Guardian Homes—families who welcome them in as cherished pets from day one.

Through our Guardian Program, we’re able to grow responsibly while staying true to our mission: ensuring every dog enjoys the comfort and joy of a permanent, loving home. Our breeding dogs remain with their families for life, just as it should be.
What We Ask of our Guardian Families

Knowledge of owning, caring proper grooming for a dog.

Provide the dog with basic vet care (well checks, and vaccinations).

Properly socialize, exercise, train, and feed the dog a proper diet.

Purchase the Baxter and Bella training curriculum and train the puppy with their program.

Able to identify a heat cycle and be willing to communicate with us on dogs health and heat cycles.

Fenced yard (preferred).

Any male dogs in the home must be fixed.

Utah Resident (Utah, Salt Lake or Davis County preferred) and willing to travel to Salt Lake County when needed.

We take care of any breeding related expense.

Females will have a total of 3-4 litters.
What you get in Return
We give you a healthy dog for you to enjoy at little to no upfront cost. They live in your home with you and will stay with your family for the entirety of its life.
